Good morning, folks!
So, that was a week, huh?
Between President Joe Biden’s address to Congress, reports John Kerry spilled Israeli state secrets to the Iranians, and allegations New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo had his aides hide the state’s nursing home death total so he could sell his stupid book, it’s difficult sometimes to keep up with everything that’s happening, especially as stories continue to unfold.
That’s what I’m here for.
On Monday, May 3, I will be launching a paid subscription option for this newsletter, offering exclusive news coverage as well as media and political analysis. It will also feature the option for you, my readers, to engage me directly about the news of the day.
Is there a story you don’t understand because you have a life and aren’t following every single detail? Is there a story you want to see covered more? Do you have questions or analysis of your own you want to discuss with a journalist-turned-commentator who is covering a story that matters to you?
You’ll get all this and more with a paid subscription to “And another thing …”
It will cost $5 a month or $49.00 annually (an 18% discount). A full list of paid subscriber benefits can be found here, including the option to join a quarterly phone call with me and the occasional mystery guest.
As for non-paid subscribers, not to worry – you will still get 1 or 2 posts a week. But all the sparkly new stuff will be available only with a subscription.
Also, in response to a reader’s question, the following should answer whatever questions you may have regarding canceling your paid subscription (but you’d never do that to me, right?):
To cancel a paid subscription: Navigate to https://their.substack.com/account (replace "their" with the name of their Substack). Click the link that says "To cancel your subscription, click here".
Your subscription will be cancelled at the end of the month, or you can cancel it immediately if you prefer.
If you know someone who may be interested in subscribing to “And another thing …,” please share this article with them or direct them to the “subscribe” button below:
Or, if you’d prefer, you can share the newsletter with them directly with the following:
The big launch comes after this weekend. I’m excited, y’all.
Have a great weekend!
