Ourageous overreaction to expressions that are protected by the Constitution, in my opinion. It smacks somewhat of Heinrich Himmler and Joseph Goebbels in the early days of creating Nazi propaganda to intimidate and ultimately punish those citizens who were offended by the Hitler regime. "If you are against our agenda, we are going to get the government to come after you!"
Interest groups (e.g. the NSBA, some unions and political organizations) would rather stifle opposing viewpoints than support education about many viewpoints and freedom of speech.
