Good morning, all!

To all subscribers: You may have noticed I haven’t published anything in this space since Jan. 5.

To all paying subscribers: You may not have noticed I paused billing in December.

The demands of keeping up with the newsletter, my professional job, family life, etc. have become far too time-consuming for me to juggle. I can’t stay on top of the one without detracting from the other.

Because of this, I paused billing. I realize I can’t keep up with the output I promised paying subscribers. If you’re a paying subscriber and believe I have failed to live up to my end of the bargain, please respond with an email to this post and I will gladly refund you the full amount.

If you’re a founding member, and you likewise feel you haven’t gotten your money’s worth, please send me a note. I will gladly refund the full amount. I still want to do at least two founding members-only phone calls for “news analysis and Q&A” with guest speakers as promised. Be on the lookout for a list of date options and speaker announcements for those calls.

As for this newsletter, I have to pause it for the time being. I have enjoyed serving you in this way, and I hope you’ve all enjoyed the stories. I’m not shuttering the newsletter entirely because I plan at some point to get back to producing content for you all on a regular basis. For now, however, it’s simply not something I can do with all the other demands of my personal and professional life.

It’s bittersweet to pause things for now, but needs must. So, until next time:
